Yes... Walt Disney did create Disney World, thus he was the original voice of Mickey Mouse, but, it wasn't his IDEA. His daughter and himself went to an amusement park and his daughter got the crazy idea that his father could be the next upgrade in animation and amusement. ∙ 8y agoWalt Disney made Disneyland in California, then he had an idea of making a larger version. He wanted something on the East Coast to capture that market, as only 2% of Disneyland's customers came from the East Coast. He decided upon Florida after much research and secrecy. Disney designed Walt Disney World but didn't live to see it built. He did in fact pass away before construction even began.
