A baby boom that increased the U.S population.
Not really. The Second World War was more a result of the unwillingness of the Allies to enforce the terms of the Treaty of Versailles. They believed that no one would ever start such a large conflict again after how catastrophic World War 1 was. They deeply underestimated Hitler's charisma and his desire to rule Europe. So they let Germany rearm and practiced a method called 'appeasement' meant to give up a little to avoid a broader conflict. Obviously it didn't work, and Hitler used it to buy more time and resources and pick the start of the war on his own terms.
It did contribute somewhat though, in the sense that the end of World War 1 left Germany in complete and utter collapse. And this was what the Nazis used to rally the German people and put themselves into power less than 20 years later.
the second world war happened because Germany was made to pay all war debt, and because of the Treaty of Versailleswas so strict. if they had given them (Germany) some finical help and got their contry back in order. Germany would have good relations with the other countries and would not have a reason to invade France.
Yup
Hitler renaged on a pact not to expand the German empire but the basterd did by invading Czechoslovakia and then not satisfied with that tried to invade Poland.
shortly after chamberlin (nice man with no backbone) had no choice but to enter into a war with Germany.
Hitler was a product of what ww1 did. The treaty of Versailles was the real cause of ww2. It put Germany in such a bind. What the allies did was create a treaty that Germany had no choice but to sign and it was something that caused disgrace and deep resentment . France tried to force Germany to repay 200 billion dollars and wanted Germany weak. Two things that don't go together, if you have a weak non producing country then how can they pay you if there not producing and your taxing the hell out of them for there goods. Oh yeah the French were asking for a ridiculous interest rate. the result was hyperinflation. So Germany said screw this we aren't paying this and stopped. So France invaded Germany. This created deep resentment along with a reason for Hitler to be accepted. When people are discontent and full of resentment they will listen to anybody that seems to make sense and promises a new bright future.
yes and no.
WWII came because of WWI. If first wouldn't happen, Germanny wouldn't have lead by Nazis. But Soviet Union would have anyway come, maybe little later than it happen.
Although the two were separate conflicts, the mistakes made by the treaty of Versailles are what is thought to have angered Hitler and caused the second world war. The treaty stated that amongst other things, Germany was allowed an army of just 100,000 men, and that the tradition of National service was to be discontinued. Also, the Germans were not allowed a Navy. Britain and France also banned German troops form entering the Rhineland, and gave the Sudetenland back to the checks, and the Saarland back to the French. Although other things were put into practice, such as a large chunk of the German Empire was taken and shared between Britain and France; the aforementioned points were the main causes of Hitlers aggression. He wanted all of these things to be granted back to Germany, the majority were, in what Neville Chamberlain called 'appeasement' meaning, give them what they want and hope they're happy. But Hitler gained confidence with every stage of appeasement, and soon realized that he could just about get away with anything, such as reclaiming the Sudetenland, and then having the audacity to ask for more! And more he got. We gave Hitler what he wanted, and he kept on asking for more. Eventually Britain made a stand and said no when he asked for Poland. We said that if Hitler were to invade Poland, then we would come to their aid and declare war. Thus, when Poland was invaded, war broke out between Britain and her allies, and Germany and her allies.
Not directly. A lot of the same countries were involved but the reasons were different. WWII was mainly fought in Europe for anti-semitism reasons as well as the expansion of Germany for the Master Race under Hitler. WWII was fought in Asia due to the interference of western countries on Japan during the War and in an effort to save the country from economic struggle at the time. IE> Oil trade routes were being monitored and controlled by western countries.
Because Hitler (as well as many other Germans) felt very embarrassed because such a great nation such as Germany, the old Prussia, could lose a war and pay so immensely because of it.
Hitler was angered by the war punishments (reparation, demilitarisation ect) and wanted to kill the French for insisting on such an intense punishment on the Germans (as Germany invaded France and destroyed Normandy due to war) He also wanted to rid the world of communism, socialism, slavs, Jews, culture and democracy.
Then when Britain and France declared war on Germany, they were too weak to fight the Germans as;
-> The French failed to study German war tactics that was actually published in a book
-> The British were too scared and their infantry isn't great
-> Russians were in a Nazi-soviet pact
-> USA didn't want to get involved in Eurpean affair's
... in a nut shell, that's how they link!
Many people say that it was.
When World War One ended, Germany was forced to pay massive reparations to the Allied Powers (Mostly France). This essentially crippled the German economy, leading to a Depression. Adolf Hitler, promising to restore Germany's power, managed to gain power in Germany. As Hitler had absolute power in Germany, he can be blamed for the Invasion of Poland, which is the generally accepted start of World War 2.
a. Yes it did. The treaty at Versailles after WWI was unfair to Germans, and they vowed revenge. The seizure of the German merchant fleet, massive reparations and subsequent treaty violations by Britain brought on WWII. Hitler rose to power with promises to fix the economy destroyed by the treaty, and to right the wrongs dealt to them in the treaty.
The Treaty of Versailles also forced Germany to repay France hundreds of millions of Deutschmaks in war damage, but Germany couldn't afford it. This lead to hyperinflationto the point where a loaf of bread could cost 200billion marks (no exaggeration) and Germany's state deteriorated.
To make Germany self-sufficient, Hitler decided to take over all the countries it was importing from so that it didn't need to spend out money it didn't have on importing raw materials for things like its expanding army (which was also going against the ToV which limited the German army to 100,000 men).
Germany began invading countries and this alarmed Europe and the rest of the world. Eventually, when Poland was invaded, Britain declared war on Germany.
So although WWI didn't directly lead to WWII, the Treaty of Versailles put Germany in a terrible state and Hitler's subsequent promise to rebuild the German Empire certainly did cause it.
WW1 caused Germany to suffer greatly and it became easy for the Nazi party to take control by promising to restore Germany to its former glory and taking back land that was lost in WW1
yes, it also happened because of Hitler
thy suffered heavy casualties and russia ended and gave way to the ussr
1989 you know that i like you(: the way that i like you!
the war would have happened, but it would have been way different (i believe) because japan was the one who started with it, not germany, so japan would have started a big war, but not as big as it was because of germany. and it would probably have ended before.
After WWI, German was not allowed to have an army, and had to pay the damages.
A diary is an effective way to learn about world war 2 because it describe about how the jewish people were in trouble
It was the noon Directioners fault why the world ended that way!.
Yes. If it wasn't it wouldn't have ended the way it ended.

WW1 was ended with the Treaty of Versailles which blamed the war on Germany. Germany was so mad about this that, for their new dictator, they looked to Hitler for guidance This led up to WW2, in a way.
it did more to change the way that the world treated Jews.
The other way around - the fall of Troy ended the Trojan War.

Imperialism (economic, political and/or military) is the uninvited domination of one country by another. World War II is usually described as starting on September 1, 1939, with Germany's invasion of Poland. However, the roots go back at least to the way that World War I ended.
world war 1 started on June 28, 1914 with the assassination of the Austrian Archduke Ferdinand and his wife, when their open car stopped at a corner on its way out of the town. it ended November 11, 1919. world war 2 started September 1, 1939 when Germany invaded Poland. it ened in 1945 after japan surrendered.
