Since Judah Benjamin was a Confederate cabinet minister, the answer is presumably yes.
But the Jews were always identified with New York. They mostly wouldn't have fitted-in with the Southern planters (not even Al Jolson!)
Absolutely not. This is a myth spread by people who are eager to blame the Jews for every evil in society. But there is no credible evidence to support the myth that Jews financed or profited from the slave trade. Rather, the biggest percentage of slave-owners and traders were Christians; some Muslims were also active participants. That said, it is true that there was a small percentage of Jews involved in the slave trade, but they were by no means a major factor in supporting or advancing it. It is also true that the vast majority of Jews neither owned slaves nor provided material support for slavery...NOT!
It is well documented that the Middle Passage slave trade was dominated by Jews, regardless of country. The traders were Jews. The shipowners were Jews. And the largest slaveholders in the New World were in fact Jews, in Brazil. Slavery was/is a Jewish enterprise. Read the Talmud, it does not prohibit slavery as long as the slaves are Gentiles. This is well settled history. Go see for yourself.
The two were different but were both appalling. The purpose of the Holocaust was genocide: the aim was to exterminate all Jews in Europe. The purpose of the slave trade was to make money by trafficking and selling human beings: there was no attempt to exterminate them.
There are some unstated assumptions in this question: 1. that the Holocaust happened so long that the time has come to forget and and to shut up about it. 2. That the numbers involved (6 million) make it rather unimportant. 3. That the Holocaust and the slave trade are comparable. As for #1 the slave trade ended long, long before the Holocaust began, so go figure the logic of what you are asking. #2 Yes, there have been other cases of genocide ... and they are all outrageous. #3 It has become fashionable to compare the Holocaust and the slave trade, but it is a misleading comparison. Of course, both involved gross indignities, suffering and deaths. However, the slave trade was not about extermination: the aim was to get the slaves to the New World alive and sell them. The purpose of the Holocaust was to kill all Jews in Europe. The words 'still talking' are misleading. If one goes back to the 1950 and early 1960s one finds that very little was said in public about either the Holocaust or the slave trade.

The Nazis 'sent the Jews away' in order to use some of them as slave labour and to kill them.
Jews dominated the slave trading industry http://www.jewwatch.com/jew-slavery-folder.html
Since about 400 years ago, as Jews arrived in the Americas.
They needed cheap labour, they also forced millions of gentiles into slave or near slave labour.
Jews have the same technology as everyone else. Jews are not some weird group of people who live separate from the rest of the world. Jews are mixed in with everyone else. Americas richest people are mostly jewish...
In order to use them as slave labour and/or to kill them.
