I think yes, the U.S. did make a mistake staying neutral, because if they helped Great briatin to stop Hitler. if U.S had enter the war before and helped Great Britain in the war most of people could have survived entering the war after some months was a big mistake. i thinkif united states enter the war early most of the people could not have died.
