Obviously this bothers you...seeing that it does, you need to move on. He is going with the flow only to "please" you. Being 29 or older has nothing to do with his feelings for you or the relationship...with him saying he is going with "the flow" is just stating "I am here now until I find something better"... My advice; you find someone better. He is only stringing you along....which in the future- will hurt you...more than it does now.....just move on...without him. Tell him you're going with the flow....out of there!
