Natural Immunizationoccurs through contact with an illness. There are actually two types of Natural Immunization, Active and Passive

Actively Acquiring occurs when the body has already experienced a condition by that pathogen.

Passively Acquiring occurs this way, when you are a child, your mother usually breastfeeds you until you are six months old. They do this because up until you are six months old, your mother's antibodies protect you and give you immunity from certain diseases and viruses, and this is passive acquiring.

Artificial ImmunizationArtificial Immunizations aren't as exciting as natural immunizations. Artificial Immunization occurs by actions such as shots, or vaccinations. The polio vaccination, for example, gives people immunity to the polio virus.
