∙ 11y agoA local Area Network is a set of hosts (Computers, printers etc) all connected together with a device such as a router or switch. All devices that are part of your home network are on your LAN.
A WAN or Wide Area Network are multiple LANs or networks logically linked together that are able to communicate to each other outside their own network.
