Wired refers to any devices that you hook thru a cord or cable to be able to communicate with each toher. On the other hand, wireless refers to transmitting data or information between devices that doesn't need a cord or cable. It uses wireless receivers and transmitters that can communicate by sending information over the air.

The difference between these connections are that in wired you have the modem but a wire is connected from the modem to the computer. The wire size varies. If you have desktop in your room and the phone in the same room also , then you shud take wired or wireless. in wireless more than 4 comps can connect bcoz the range vud b very high . IN desktops which don't have wirelss cards can use wirelss routers.

A wired connection obviously requires a cable with the proper connector. A wireless connection uses frequency transmission as its media (no cable).

To the user, it doesn't make any difference; they see the same connections to the network.

the difference between wire and wireless transmission media,, is that, wire( mean, the media have to be transported by using a wire),, and wireless, ( mean to transport media by using no-wire, remember wireless mean no-wire, by using radio/wifi,, the media has been transmitted., the wire more faster than the wifi, but the wifi have more advantage than the wire, it depend on the type of wire, in that case( too-much wire reduce analog. and too far from device, reduce the wifi signal.
