Flooding - Results in homes being destroyed

- Dams can burst and governments need to pay for repairs

Heavy rain can cause sports fields to become water llogged meaning events need to be canceled

Certain buisnesses will have sale drops e.g. ice cream men

Tourists may be put off an area if rain is excessive

Advantages your plants get water and you don't have to fill up your pools. if you have a water tank you can fill it up.

disadvantages

lots of rain causes floods and people and houses are destroyed, when it rains to hard you cant see on the road and accidents occur. sometimes work is called off and you dont get paid. if you are a school student you dont get to play outside and lunch breaks.

Rain water creates flood situation everywhere and hence that kills thousands of people and animals. Also the flood damages the crops and other plants. Excess rainfall forces migration of the people living in the area closer to the river catchment.

Also rain water causes excessive load on our drainage system. Excessive rain or flood situation causes many water borne diseases, which ultimately causes death of many people.
