"Well I'm guessing it would work. The wiis are made exactly the same and so are the games for it. And I'm guessing we both have the same language so yes it will work." (That was the previous answer.)
I was wondering the same thing, but I assume it won't work, since English Wii games don't work on US Wiis, and vis-versa. Maybe the GC isn't region-blocked, but it might be.
Yes.
Get a region free disc. I use Action Replay (like GameShark/ game genie stuff). It doubles as a disc that can inject the code so you can play games from other regions. I've never tried it though, because I've never needed to.
YES! by using some type of converter i managed to play games all the way from hongkong on my American gamecube. some converters like freelaoder (the converter i use) only translate some text but either way by using the converter the gamecube will treat a jappanese game like American games only as if you had switched text and voice to Japanese not English, this can be ignored vary easily and wont flaw your game play if you just try to do what you think is the rite thing. ALL games so far that have worked on freelaoder for me are games like zoids full metal crush, and zoids vs. 3, and the graphics wornt blured at all! if you want the best converter i highly sugest looking for a converter compatible with wii and gamecube, and is from the companie that made action replay (if you don't know how to tell if they made it look for a symbole of 4 circles clumbed into a square shape, the top left is red, the one under that is green, to the lower right is yellow and above that or top right is blue) hear is the freelaoder i use.

using freelaoder is just to simple, its a disk you put in the gamecube as if it were a game, then (if your gamecube is on) your free laoder shows (yes shows as in pitchers) what to do, basicaly when it tells you to open the gamecube, and switch the freelaoder disk with a forin game disk. and haliluia your game will begin (some times my freelaoder wont play the game because i did the steps to fast just redo it slower if this happens to you, if the screen becomes black then your game is starting... or atleast the zoid games do that when they start... ) hoped this helped
i would think so seeing that Japanese wiis can play Japanese gc games and also a US wii can play Japanese wii games if modded i don't see why it cant play Japanese GC games if modded to do so
No, Australian Wii games and North American Wii games have a different configuration and only work with their corresponding region.
they should
No they will not but if you have it chiped they will
No, the Wii is region locked.
yes
Yes. Games from these countries are from the PAL region and should work perfectly on either system.
no
Yes, European Wii games are able to be played on a English wii console as England is European. but American and Japan wii games will not work on a European wii or English.
SORRY! Only American wii games work with American wiis. Unless hacking or modding works!
No, the Nintendo Wii is region locked so North American games will not work on an Australian console
No because the wii is region locked. the US wii is NTSC while the EU wii is PAL. so it will not work, but Australian wii games work on the EU wii as they are both PAL.
I'd say because they're both made for the Wii
your wii reads Australian codes only, so get your wii a hong kong code from a wii chiper.
Yes but not American games
