Catholics as a whole dislike no one, especially not Jews (after all, Jesus was a Jew!). There may be individual Catholics who have personal prejudices against Jews, but the Church does not condone that and teaches that Catholics must show love to everyone.

There are several others, but modern rabbinical Judaism and Catholic Christianity were both born from 1st century Temple Judaism in Roman-controlled Palestine, with Hellenistic influences, so there are also many similarities.

While much of Catholicism is based on Judaic teachings and practices, there are some very fundamental differences that split the two, namely that the Messiah has arrived and is named Jesus Christ. In many ways Catholics might be considered as 'Reformed Jews."

However, the Catholic Church started out nearly completely as Jews in the first century who believed and professed that Jesus, Son of Mary, was the promised Messiah for whom they had been waiting. Currently, the Catholic religion is the natural outgrowth and fulfillment of all the promises of judaism.
The Jews in the modern world are descendants of those Jews who did not accept that Jesus was the promised Messiah, they are still awaiting a Messiah.
