No, Jehovah's Witnesses do not have a clergy laity division. They consider all their members (male and female) as "ministers" and all members take part in their services. Only male members qualifty to be what they call "elders", members that take the lead in organizing their work. Their elders are not paid and have no special privileges.

This is such a ridiculous question, I am not sure it deserves a response. Alll I can say is, "WHAT?" ANSWER Jehovah's Witnesses do not "prey" on anyone. The word is heavily negative and implies that Jehovah's witnesses systematically take advantage of and harm young people. This is far from the truth. Firstly, Jehovah's Witnesses to not 'target' any age group, nation or race. They preach to everyone, in every home, in every street all over the world. Secondly, their message is not harmful. They teach the bible and encourage all to put the bible into practice. So, no Jehovah's Witnesses do not "prey" on anyone.

I grew up as a Jehovahs witness and I always felt worse when people made a huge deal in making thing separate. All people are different in their beliefs and some are more strict then others, but in general Jehovahs witnesses are kind and will resectfully back away if there is anything that they feel uncomfortable with. Just talk to the person, I am sure they will let you know how they feel, and where they draw the line. For the most part though they will not take part of any holiday events and if they have been practiceing long they will be use to not being involved.
Why don't Jehovahs witnesses go to war?
Jehovah's Witnesses do not believe in war. Who does? They are against murder. Like Christians, etc... In fact, known in many wars they have denied conscription. By this, they have been killed, shot down on the spot. During the Nazis regime Jehovah's Witnesses were also killed with the Jewish (with many other victims) due to their beliefs against war. Germany had wanted to recruit people for their war. Jehovah's Witnesses had been rejected by countries due to not wanting to join armies in those times. Like in the Bible says You should Love your enemies Unlike the catholic religion who bless the arms and troops, Jehovahs witnesess do not by any part take sides in a war. Jehovahs witnesess are not forced not to take part in a war in case are drafted, BUT they leave it as a personal decision.
Why do Jehovah's Witnesses not work?
Jehovah's Witnesses DO work. They are to the best of their ability, encouraged to support themselves by working. Most of the members of this religion are employed in some kind of work to support themselves and their families since they take seriously the biblical guidance that to fail to do so would be a sin. They carry on their public preaching ministry outside their hours of employment. A small number of their members are missionaries and supported by their organisation so they can preach full-time.
