The Qur'an sometimes spelled Koran. There are also other important books along with the Koran. The Suhuf, scrolls of Abraham, the Tawrat, the first five texts of the Hebrew Scriptures, the Zabur, Psalms of Hebrew scriptures, and the Injil, gospels or words from Jesus. There is also the Hadith but it's just sayings from Muhammad.
Since the Suhuf, Tawrat, Zabur, and Injil (mentioned above) are all either lost or have been changed by mankind Muslims dont really study these for learning about Islam, the read these to learn about what other religions think and what they believe. Muslims primarily read the Quran (the spelling differs because this is not an English term, but an Arabic one) and read documented and authentic Hadith or sayings of the Prophet Muhammad (Hadith can be of many types: sound, unsupported, etc. but there are certain books that have been compiled and only list authentic Hadith)
Muslim's sacred book is the Koran. Saddam Hussein mentioned the treason of Judas to Jesus to a guard, so that tells me they might read The Bible for any number of reasons. Remember that Arabs and Jews are descendents of Abraham.
Muslims and Islamists do not believe the Holy Bible as the word of God. Their prophet Mohamed wrote a version they follow called the Qurran.
------------------------
I am a Muslim and first of all, Quraan is not written by our prophet Mohammad ( peace be upon him ) . Mohammad is messenger of Allah , and as the Torah and the gospel is from Allah , also Quraan is from Allah .It is written in Qurran that Torah and Gospel are books from Allah . but they are not saved probably, and I can prove this by simply that there is more than one versions of each holy book you have . Quraan from 1431 years tell now only one version the original one are same weather you go in the west or the east , and that is because Allah saved Quraan as the last book he well send to the mankind and accepted Islam as the last religion to the mankind. You can ask any Muslim do you believe in bible as a word of Allah surly they would agree, but not in there text books which had been changed so it agree with their likes .
Some do, but most (even correcting for rampant illiteracy) do not read the Old Testament. There is a cultural taboo on reading the Bible for Muslims throughout the Islamic World because the fear is that a person will get "incorrect" and "offensive" ideas about the Islamic Prophets (the Judeo-Christian Prophetic Lineage) mentioned in the Old Testament. One of the biggest differences between Islam on the one hand and Judaism and Christianity on the other hand as regards this Prophetic Lineage is that Islam asserts that all of the prophets were perfect human beings, whereas Judaism and Christianity reference the Old Testament showing that the prophets were very imperfect individuals. For example, Muslims often find the story of Lot's incest in Genesis to be offensive because they see it as slandering Prophet Lot's good name.
Additionally, many of the Biblical stories have been introduced into the Islamic Canon through the Qesas al-Anbiyaa' (Stories of the Prophets) which are effectively Old Testament and Gospel Accounts that have been sanitized and brought into accordance with the corrections in the Qur'an by Islamic Scholars.
Generally speaking, NO. Most Muslims will argue that the Torah that currently exists has been corrupted in some way and, therefore, reading it will corrupt their spiritual understanding. Earlier Muslim exegetes, like Ibn Kathir and Al-Tirmidhi read the Torah and other Biblical books in order to assemble Qesas al-Anbiyaa or the Stories of the Prophets, which is effectively an edit of the Bible to make the stories of the Bible fit with the revisions in the Qur'an.
