NO. Do Christians only speak English?

More seriously, though, most Jews speak the lingua franca or official language(s) of their country of birth or residence. For example, most American, Canadian (aside from Quebec), and British Jews speak English. Most Quebecois and French Jews speak French. Most Argentine and Mexican Jews speak Spanish. Most Russian and Ukrainian Jews speak Russian. Many also speak Jewish languages, of which Hebrew is just one of many, including: Yiddish, Ladino, Yevanic, and Judeo-Arabic.

Jews who know their way around the Talmud are able to speak Aramaic.

However, most Jews do not use Aramaic as a conversational language, preferring instead to use local vernaculars like English and French; and historically, Jewish languages like Yiddish, Ladino, Judeo-Arabic, or Modern Hebrew.

Hebrew is used for prayers, blessings, and reading the Torah. Talmud-study uses a mix of Hebrew and Aramaic. Otherwise, daily conversation in Hebrew takes place only in Israel.

Did Indians know Hebrew?

If you are talking about Native Americans, then the answer is that prior to contact with Europeans, they did not know Hebrew. After contact, it was unlikely that any Native American even met a Hebrew speaker until at least the 19th Century. (Today there are some Native Americans who know Hebrew, including my husband.) If you are talking about India in Asia, Jews first came to India around 500 CE. Jews who lived in India were able to read and pray in Hebrew, but spoke Indian languages in daily communication.
