No
With respect to the person asking this question and all those that will view it, I honestly do not think it came from Samoa. In essence, I think "Samoan girl scout cookies" was considered because there is coconut in it being sold by little girls. The Girl Scout is now popular and adding a little bit of culture in there would help in spreading the word out about girl scout and not only that the cookies. The cookies by the way, are really good.
Samoa
Samoan people come from the Samoan Islands in general or, in particular, the country Samoa (officially the Independent State of Samoa), which is in the western Samoan Islands, which are in the the south Pacific Ocean.
From the land and from the sea, and then Samoa imports as well
They came from SAMOA of course!! There language and samoan language the most common!
The first known Girl Scout troop to sell cookies was the Mistletoe Troop in Muskogee, Oklahoma in 1917. The first commercially baked cookies were sold in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1934.
Since Girl Scout cookies are packaged and sold within a short time, they do not mark the boxes. About the only way to be sure the cookies are fresh is to buy them directly from a Girl Scout or a Girl Scout Council. Another way would be to compare the box with current boxes because the boxes change every few years. Also, some new kinds come out every year or two, so you could check to make sure that kind of cookie is being sold during the current year. If not, you would know the cookies are old. GSUSA does not recommend buying Girl Scout cookies online as there is no way to know how fresh the cookies are.
No! They're two completely different ethnic groups. Samoans are from a country called 'Samoa' in the South Pacific, hence the word 'South Pacific' (Australasia) meaning Samoans come from a different continent from where Africans are from. Basically comparing a Samoan to an African is like comparing the English to the Chinese. Obviously, they're not the same.

No Samoa Joe and Umaga are not family. But they both come from Samoa.
