The universe is so big why should we be the only ones living in it? Aliens, in my opinion, probably do exist. Nobody really knows.

But consider this: someone has to be the first form of intelligent life in the universe. Whoever it was would look up at the vastness of the universe, and like the above answerer, think it was so big it must be chock-full of people. And they'd be wrong. There is no reason to think that isn't us.

For a while they thought they'd found fossils in a Martian meteorite. It seems to be incorrect; the tiny specks of mineral just don't seem large enough to contain the complex chemical reactions of life.

Their is no proof of aliens besides fossils on Mars. Of the +140 'earth like' planets discovered sense the launch of the Kepler Telescope it is extremely likely that life exists in outer space but that depends on if your definition of life includes microorganisms or not.
