∙ 11y agoIf by "rust proof" you mean that the metal will take any abuse and not corrode, then the answer is "NO".
Alloy frames are made of aluminum or zinc alloy. Neither of these "rust" in the sense of red ferric oxide but both will suffer corrosion if exposed to water and salts for extended periods.

∙ 15y agoThat kind of depends on what you mean. Stainless steel will rust if you try hard enough but with reasonable care it will rust much slower than carbon steel.
