Not necessarily. You can easily keep it out for up to 2 days without a problem, but putting it in the fridge can extend it by another 2 days. Storing it in the fridge can cause the crust to become soggy, so if you have a lot of pie left over and cannot possibly eat it in the 2 days, send some home with your guests, or visit some neighbours with a slice or 3.

No, it should be eaten with vanilla ice cream.

If there is any left over, then it should be covered and refrigerated. However, refrigeration causes foods to dry out and pick up the flavors of other foods if not properly covered.

No it does not have to go in the fridge. I usually wrap mine in foil. And then I stick it in the microwave to keep. Putting it in the fridge though is a good way to prevent bacteria.

No, it does not. If you leave it out, it will be fine for a few days. However, it is better to put it in the fridge. This will prevent bacteria from forming. This includes mold.

Yes, keep in the fridge, and eat with in a couple of days (the pastry may become a bit soggy if refrigerated for too long).
