That depends on the atheist. Some believe all religions are fake with absolutely no truth behind them while others believe one thing or another may be of truth.

Answer:

Almost all religions teach a number of good values (honesty, respect for the law, forgiveness and charity) and there is general a caveat to prevent overt cruelty, theft and murder. If these instructions are the only things that keep the religious from doing harmful things to themselves or others then most atheists would hope they continue to follow the instructions.

What will happen if religion is gone one day?

Religion as a set of beliefs will stay as long as there are people on this planet. Contrary to what others claim, even atheists have a religion - the belief that there is no God for them to be accountable to. Hence, atheists believe that there is just nature and the material world around them. Religion can not be blotted out from the human race. Ever wondered if other living things like dogs and cats have religion? Isn't it amazing why only the human race have religion compared to the animals in this planet? Once religion is gone, then there are only animals in this planet - no more humans.

Why do atheists and theists believe there is a division between God and man?

Atheists do not believe there is a division between God and humanity since atheists lack any belief in gods they do not spend time thinking of such matters. A theist can answer the second part of the question.

Why are Atheists bad?

They aren't, they just don't believe in God. There are many bad people who do believe and do bad things in that belief. Atheists are just people, good, bad, indifferent. You can't say they are bad as a group just for their beliefs or lack of. That is true of any group that is different than the one you are in. Pick any religion, there are good and bad people in any of them.

What religion is an Atheist?

Religion does not have to be mystical or non-rational (no offense), religion by definition is a particular system of faith. Some atheist don't practice religion, yes. but other atheists like, well, me and the others, have our own religion... which in our case we prefer to have Science as our particular system of faith, so technically, some of us have a religion. so, going back to your question... the answer would be Scientism.Another opinion:Atheism isn't a religion by any means. There is no bible, no dogma, or rituals. And many Atheists will disagree on many things. The only identifier of being an Atheist, is the proclimation that they do not believe any god claims, especially without evidence.I suppose some atheists might think they're a religion, but by definition it isn't. Religion requires "faith". Faith is acceptance of a concept without, or in spite of contrary, evidence.

What are some atheist worldviews?

Atheism is not an organised movement, in the way that a religion would be. It is simply the belief that no god exists, or at least that there is no reason to believe that a god exists. Beyond that, different atheists are free to hold such worldviews as they wish. However, there are some secondary beliefs that most atheists would probably subscribe to by not believing in a creator god. If, as atheists believe, there is no God, then the world and all living things were not divinely created. This does not necessarily lead on to believing in evolution, but evolution is the most rational belief for most atheists. So, although it is not necessary to be an atheist to believe in evolution (many religious people also believe in evolution), most atheists would see evolution as part of their worldview. Atheists have no reason to believe that a great flood covered the entire world, or even just the entire Middle East, a few thousand years ago. Nor would they see a rainbow as a message from God. Atheists who have studied elementary science would see the rainbow as no more than a sprectum of light, created in the clouds in just the same way as a rainbow can be created by a prism. Atheists do not believe that the world is destined to end soon. They believe that, barring a nuclear war, the world will continue for millions of years to come.

Do atheists have a problem with god?

No. Atheists don't believe in any god claims, The rationalzation being, you can't have a problem with something that hasn't been proven to exist. It would be more accurate to say, "Some Atheists have a problem with people doing hurtful things in the name of their god."

What people who practice the religion believe?

They believe many different things; what they believe will depend on the specific religion.A religion is usually about having some kind of supernatural belief, in things for which there is no good evidence, or insufficient evidence - for example, most religions believe in a god, or gods. Some religions don't believe in a god, but do believe in other supernatural things.

Why do people hate other people when they are atheist?

Is this a serious question? 70% of philosophers (often philosophers are ethicists) are atheist, buddhists are atheistic, babies are atheist, many many scientists who work to make life better for the rest of the world are atheists, many physicists, biologists, especially psychologists, and anthropologists, many many many people are atheist. Scientists, doctors, people who do things selflessly not selfishly are atheists. They work long hours and try to make it a better place for people to live. I'm an atheist and right now I am typing this from a Malaria laboratory @ Johns Hopkins. Now, let's get it clear that there are some atheists who like religion, some atheists who don't care about religion, and some atheists who dislike religion. Most atheists don't care about religion and are 'live and let live' kind of people. Personally, I think some religion is good, and some is bad. I find it that many religious people get upset when religion is on the table and being criticized. I think it is because their faith is not very strong. Religion has a lot to be criticized for, especially the big ones, be it doctrine, indoctrination of children, the fact that it MUST be believed or else, morals of religion and how it contradicts normal morals. Blood sacrifices, arguing over it, and just plain old weird stories, etc. Atheists who are angry at religion most often come from religious households, and since religion does not want to be questioned most of the time, these types of atheists generally feel that religion has a stronghold on our culture and an oppressive feel to it. The spokespeople for religion are often the worse because of the radicalness of the books themselves. Some of these people have mental problems, and some are normal, but just radical, and transfer their radical viewpoints to their congregations. The facts are: THE LOUDEST AMONG THEM WILL GET THE MOST ATTENTION. Atheists dislike all the bad things that come from religion, and since religious people don't like criticizing their own religions publically, you will find more atheists doing so.

Why religion is different?

Because people believe different things and have different values.
