Sometimes wolves live in caves when they are having their offspring.

Normally, wolves live in dens, since they like to roam their whole territory in search of food.
It depends on their enviroment but I think they live in stone "huts" like caves, stone dens really.
They would if one was available, but usually dig dens out beneath fallen trees, or around boulders or other structure.

Yes, in most places where cyotes live, they live in dens underground to escape the servere climate. Exp. Keep cool in the desert heat/keep wrm in feilds at night...etc.
