Depends how its "broken." If it really is cracked or broken the turtle most likely will die or will be paralyzed. If the portion broken is only on the side and doesn't get to close to the center then most likely it will survive. It all depends on if the broken part touches the spinal cord/or reveals internal organs.

Well, I assume you know what an adaptation is (the qualities an animal needs to adjust to their enviroment), so this should be easy for you. A Box turtle's adaptations. . . 1. Their size 2.Their shell 3.(I think) Their jaws. . . They do snap, am I correct? Well, that's about all I can think of. Is this for science homework or plain curiosity?

No, box turtles have normal (though large) shells.

Additionally, they have a hinged shell which closes when they pull in their head. Which is why they are called 'box' turtles.
