well the girl are big with short claws and the boy are small with long claws
The female of every turtle species digs the hole right before she lays the eggs.
this is the real answerthe boy turtle has a long tail and long nails, the girl turtle has a short tail and short nails (I Have Four Painted Turles)
to see if a red eared slider is a boy or girl, look at the claws and tail. if they r long it is a girl. if they r short it is a boy. I know because I have two of them
You're the guy that asked god knows how many questions about red eared sliders aren't you? Sorry. Anyway no one can tell you what month exactly. Just know they lay their eggs in spring. Geckomaster P.S. To get all this info your looking for just find a good website on google or something.
Usually the tail will tell you. Also the spots on the bottom of their shell, but the easiest way to tell is look at its tail. If it looks rather small and thin, it's a girl. If it's fat and long, it's a boy. -Chris
there are a couple ways you can tell a female turtle from a male 1. Females are bigger than males 2. males tails are thicker (for the penis) and females tails are long and thin 3. and or red eared sliders the males front claws are longer than the females...this is for courting the females during mating season
I am a 15 year old boy and have been wearing acrylic nails since my 11th birthday. I really love them my nails are currently an inch and a quarter long and painted a deep red. I get a lot of comments mostly good and the girls love my nails a lot. I also have pierced ears and have been wearing earrings for as long as I can remember.
Yes, red eared sliders and yellow bellied sliders are both subspecies of "pond slider", in the wild where their range overlaps they mate quite often producing what are called "intergrades". The particular intergrade between a yellow bellied slider and a red eared slider often has features of both, large yellow markings on the head with a red corner.
.How would it be any different from painting a girl's nails?
by ya face
If he has long nails he's a boy . If you look underneath his shell (the bottom part) and the black spots at the bottom of it is close together it is a boy. You cannot tell if your turtle is a boy or a girl until it's 10 cm long.
