Are bullmastiff's good in an apartment?

The Bullmastiff (spelled all in one word) should be a quiet, confident and outgoing dog. It can be a very stubborn breed and is not for everyone. Needs a firm hand from a person who knows what they are doing.

Most of the time, yes. But all dogs vary, no 2 dogs are the same personality wise. I will tell you that a German Shepherd is a better guard dog though. But it can always vary. But most of the time, yes.

Each breed guards in a different way. The bullmastiff is a very confident dog. He was bred to pin & hold his prey, not to savage it. So this breed can do the job very efficiently but are a quiet & no nonsense breed. They do not do a lot of silly barking as they were bred to be quiet while guarding the King's estates from poachers, which was the reason they were first bred in England.

Bullmastiffs are fine in apartments as long as you give them enough exercise they don't need a lot of exercise a couple of good walks and a chance to run in a safe area should be all they need. They rarely bark (unless necessary), and are very gentle, loving, and protective torwards their families.

Yes, they are real friendly. Some people think that because they are so big that they aren't good family dogs. But there are VERY sweet dogs. You should get one when they are a puppy so you can teach it to be on a leash or else its a lot harder to take them on walks. They do get REALLY big.
