∙ 13y agoNo, cats do not eat their own faeces. However, I have observed that they frequently eat their own vomit. Cats do not eat their own faeces because they don't need to attempt to get more nutrients out of it (unlike rabbits, which do). Cats are carnivores, and therefore their food is typically far easier for their stomachs to digest.
