When urea decays it produces amines (NH4 = ammonia) first then mercaptans (found in skunk spray). So, at first, the urine is odorless, but as it decays, it breaks down into ammonia

cats really dont like the smell of a stranger that entered your house. my uncle came over and the cats hated his smell, we cant smell that good so we dont know, but cats dont like it. they also hate the smell of nail polish and nail polish remeever!!! :)
