Yes, but not as a waste gas during exhalation. Atmospheric air breathed in by the cow is ~21% oxygen. The cow can remove up to about 5% oxygen, so when exhaling the air from the lungs is about 16% oxygen.

Another opinion:When exhaled, oxygen binds with carbon to form carbon dioxide, which is expelled as a "waste" gas. So in a way, yes cows do release oxygen when breathing, but not in the O2 form we are familiar with that is in the atmosphere and what plants expel during the process of photosynthesis.

Breathing brings oxygen into your body, where it assists in the release of ATP.

The two phases of breathing are breathing in and breathing out. Humans breathe in oxygen and they release carbon dioxide when they breathe out.

From trees , they release co2 during breathing and release oxygen during photosynthesis

BREATHING- It is the intake of oxygen and release of carbon dioxide. RESPIRATION-It involves breathing and breakdown of food with and release of energy with the help of oxidation of blood.

No, PLANTS release oxygen when they breathe. Cows, like humans, release CARBON DIOXIDE when they exhale.

No. Cows exhale (or breathe out) carbon dioxide and inhale oxygen.

In cows, as in all mammals, the organ of breathing is the lungs.

When breathing stops from lack of oxygen

a normal respiration is one in which oxygen is inhaled and carbondioxide is exhaled. There are two types of respiration 1. breathing 2. cellular respiration in breathing we take in oxygen and release carbondioxide in cellular respiration energy is released but not in breathing

Breathing is the movement of air into and out of the lungs. Respiration is the exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide. Oxygen is picked by and carried to the cardiovascular system and taken to the cells. The cells take up the oxygen and release the carbon dioxide back into the CVS and out to the lungs. The lungs take in oxygen and release carbon dioxide.

Breathing and respiration both involve the intake of oxygen and release of carbon dioxide. They are both the opposite of photosynthesis.

Well believe it or not plants breath. they take in CO2 and they release oxygen. think about it as reverse breathing.

You inhale oxygen by breathing.

breathing is taking in oxygen and respiration is delivering oxygen to your organs etc

The pathway of oxygen is like a tube or pipe in the breathing system.

For animals (and human) it is oxygen, needed for breathing. All aerobic organisms require oxygen to release energy via respiration.

Breathing (sometimes breathing Smallpox)

Animals obtain oxygen by breathing.

they get there oxygen from breathing through their lungs.

taking oxygen in from breathing

Plants take in the oxygen from the air, and release carbon dioxide for respiration and breathing. They only take in carbon dioxide and release oxygen during photosynthesis (make food) only.

it helps you to breath and to live of the oxygen once the breathing system takes in the oxygen and gives it to the heart
