Where there is any type of vegetation, there is also animal life. Dingoes are opportunistic feeders, eating any prey that is available, and also carrion. They have a short coat with an undercoat that protects them from both the daytime desert heat and the night-time desert cold. They tend to live in areas where there are rocks and caves for shelter.

∙ 9y agoDingoes are not found in Tasmania, Australia's island state, at all. Due to efforts by humans to remove them from some livestock areas, they are not found as much in many parts of New South Wales, Victoria, southern South Australia and the far southern region of Western Australia.
