Flies do not actually 'drink', they suck liquid or moistness out of their food or nesting area, much like ants.

Yes flies do drink water but it is very rare to find a fly drinking water. flies usually suck the juice out of the fruit and other juicy things that's how the drink

We don't know yet if dragonflies drink water but we do know that like to be around wet places so we are sure that they drink water
