If it sprayed before it was fixed, it is possible it will spray after wards, but the incidents will be less frequent and should eventually stop. If it never learned to spray before it was fixed, it won't spray - the urge won't be there and it won't know how to do it.

∙ 13y agoIt depends when the cat was neutered. If it was neutered before reaching sexual maturity, or just after, it is highly unlikely a cat will spray, as it has had no chance for this behaviour to become a habit. If a cat has been left a few months after reaching sexual maturity and has sprayed for some time, it can be difficult to curb the spraying behaviour. However, most male cats will often stop spraying inside when neutered.
