Yes, if it's a mint candy with REAL peppermint oil in it, it does affect the brain, and those candies or lollies can assist, beneficially: nervousness, insomnia, cramps, coughs, migraine and headaches, poor digestion, heartburn, abdominal pains and nervous vomiting.
One problem is that if a person eats many mint candies or lollies, they will put on weight.
Mint candies are actually quite medicinal, especially if a person has any of the above problems, and is underweight.
If overweight and wanting those candies: keep on eating amounts of liquorice, to speed the metabolism, and some exercise.
