It depends on the country. In the US, all children go to school, regardless of whether they have living parents or not.
In some countries, the lack of resources (money) may not allow an orphan to go to school.

On wednesdays some french children don't go to school at all and if they do go into school it is only for half a day. If they don't go into school on wednesdays then they go to school on Saturday for half a day they also work a lot longer hours than English children do

I cannot give an exact amount but almost all children go to school in America.
