Yes but not loads and not much at all if you keep them well groomed
i don't know ! maybe.....
yes it has .....
no
They can, if you keep them when they get older. It is not uncommon for a pig to lose it's hair, and it it more common when they have access to mud. They get they itches, and will scratch until they are comfortable, and this often results in the loss of hair. Some pigs will grow it back, while others will stay hairless for life. It your pigs hair is just falling out though, that is a sign of something bigger and should be addressed by a vet.
They don't really shed. Onlt reallylong haired guinea pigs shed.
yes. they do my guinea pig has medium hair and he is shedding a lot.
Guinea pigs do not molt. Molting is when an organism with an exoskeleton 'sheds' it's outer skeleton and grows a new one, to regenerate. Guinea pigs shed their hair. They just do it; you can't stop it.
Yes But I Find That Short Haired Guinea Pigs Shed Less
Guinea Pigs Malt because they are losing there hair for differant sesons. They lose there winter hair in sping/summer.
No if the hair is tight it will not shed
Yes they do shed. They shed a fair amount of hair. The hair will be on your clothing, couches, and furniture.
Guinea pigs tend to shed year round. This is especially true of the longer hair varieties. If you have a guinea pig, be prepared to get used to some spare hair. There are a couple of things you can do to ease the amount of hair that ends up on your shirt though. You can bathe them with small animal shampoo. My local pet store carries shampoo just for guinea pigs. You can also get a shed brush. Once my piggies got used to it, they loved being brushed.
No.. They shed. They dont have scales they have fur. So they shed. Which is when their fur falls outs.
Shed is not the correct word to use, but yes, it does.
