They spread around the world as stowaways on ships. A rat can tread water for 3 days and survive being flushed down the toilet. There is approximately one rat person in the United States. The favorite foods of city rats include eggs, macaroni and cheese, and cooked corn. A rat can fall 50 feet and land unhurt.
