Basically, a solid is quite stationary. It doesn't move very much. Liquids have more energy, meaning that the particles move a lot freer. In a gas the particles are a lot further apart, meaning that they have a LOT more space to move.
Solids can be made to move faster if you give it enough energy (ie, heat). The atoms then start vibrating faster, making spaces between the atoms. This is what happens (basically) when you melt something.
molecules move faster in a state of gas and they move so fast that they broke the gravity force and attractions of each other. Molecules in a state of solid just viberate. so gas would be faster.
They vibrate back and forth and move slower out of all the states of matter
Slower then in a liquid or gas.. temperature decides speed.. at absolute zero there is no movement
Molecules in a liquid are packed close together but move freely, this is why water flows! To answer your question liquid molecules move fast.
Molecules in a solid move slower than the molecules in a liquid and a gas.
Molecules in a gas move faster than the liquid and a solid.
Fast. they move slow in a solid
molecules in a cold object moves slow.
It depends which state of matter you are referring to -- solid, liquid or gas. Solid: molecules vibrate in place Liquid: molecules are moving faster than a solid but slower than a gas. gas: molecules are moving at a high speed hope this helps :)
The speed would vary depending on where the molecules are found. Molecules in gas will move faster than they would in liquid.
The speed of sound is greater in solids. This is because the molecules in solids are closely packed. This allows sound to move faster.
gas molecules are less densily packed and hence move faster than liquids
Yes.
Gas...The molecules are less tightly packed together like in a solid and liquid so they're free to move. They seem more energized, they're faster.
Gas molecules are spread apart farther than solid molecules. They also have more energy, making them move faster
Gas molecules a spread out father than a soilid. This is beacuase gas molecules have nmore energy which makes them move much faster than the molecules in a solid.
gas
They move slower because in a solid the molecule move faster and in a gas they move slower, therefore, they will move slower. :)
It becomes a liquid. solid, liquid, and gas are relative terms defining the movement of molecules, solid moves slow, liquid faster, and gas the fastest. molecules move constantly.

Molecules actually move faster in liquid because they have more space between them to move about. That's why liquid can flow, and a solid cannot. =)

When the liquid molecules are heated, they move faster so the liquid boils and some molecules becomes gas molecules. When the liquid molecules are heated, they move faster so the liquid boils and some molecules becomes gas molecules.
