the writers of the constitution are dead so....
the vice president
Writers should not try to write what they think people want, no. Writers should write what they need to write in order to convey their original ideas and emotions and stories - if it's good enough, people will like it.
A president is sworn to uphold and defend the constitution of the US therefore he should never approve any law that would be a violation of that constitution.
Obviously, all people are not equal -- some of us are richer, or stronger, or better-educated or more attractive. But the writers of the US constitution believed that we should all be treated equally under the law, and that there should be no "second class citizens."
A president should protect and serve our country. A president should prosper life and liberty. A president should obey the wishes of Decloration of independence, the constitution, and the amendments. A president should not have advisors smuthering 'em with junk, and non sence. A president should never doubt himself or our country. A president should leave the economy to the people and not the government. A president should put the citizens above himself. A president should spend alot of time making allies and conrads. A president should take pride in americans, and never apolgize enless it was accident And now , what type of president would you be?
Maybe you mean the idea of party leader. The writers of the Constitution made no mention of political parties and did not seriously think out their coming into existence. Although I am not sure it is exactly a duty of the President, he has a great ability to sway public opinion and put attention on issues he believes Congress should act on.
The Constitution requires it.
The 25th Amendment !
Yes, the president should be subject to civil trials because in the Constitution of the United States....
The Constitution of the United States specifies the duties of the President. If you are an American, you should read the Constitution, along with a good civics book to help you understand what it means.
According to current laws (and this should be in the Constitution as well), the Executive Branch, specifically the President of the United States, is allowed the 'power of pardon' (the ability to grant pardons).
The constitution calls for the President to elected by electors from the states. It allows the state legislatures to decide how to choose its electors. Probably most of the framers expected the legislatures to elect the electors rather than holding a popular election to choose them.
