white tigers are simply an offshoot of, I believe, Siberian tiger who have a coloration mutation resulting in a white and black coat and blue eyes, rather than the normal cream, brown, and black coat. Their mating (and other) habits are pretty much the same as the Siberian they descend from.

Do white tail deer and mule deer breed together?

They might. However, the breeding season for Axis (Chittal) deer and White-tail deer are opposite, with Axis deer rutting from May to August and White-tail from October to December. Though a rutting Axis deer may try to mate with a not-in-season white-tail doe, or vice versa, the chance of producing offspring may be nil. Axis deer are actually more closely related to the American Elk than White-tailed Deer, and offspring, though not recorded, may not be genetically viable.

"White-tailed" refers to the distinctive white tail that when raised is a flag and provides a flash of white, signaling other deer when there is danger. Male deer are called "bucks", females "does" and baby deer "fawns". These deer tend to live in female-led family groups of up to 25 deer and may live to ten years or more.

The main characters are Bambi, a deer who is the young prince of the forest, his parents (the Great Prince of the forest and his unnamed mother), and his friends Thumper (a pink-nosed rabbit), Flower (a skunk), and his childhood friend and future mate, Faline (also a White-tailed deer). For the movie, Disney took the liberty of changing Bambi's species into a white-tailed deer from his original species of roe deer, since roe deer don't inhabit the United States, and the white-tailed deer is more familiar to Americans

What type of reproduction does the whitetail deer have?

A deer's reproduction is called the rut. A male deer does what some animals we know do called the "lip curl". This is when he takes a sample of doe urine and curls his lip to try to find out if the doe is in heat. If she is, he takes his advantage and mounts her. He may have to fight other bucks to win domiance over a doe. Bucks will do something called "tending". They will keep hanging around a certain doe until she comes in heat. Then they will mate and new life will grow in the female's belly.
