Depending on the video game, they are mostly not harmful to the youth. It also depends on the age of the youth and the video game being played. Video Games aren't harmful to the youth because most promote complex thinking and puzzle solving skills, and other types of complicated thinking and strategies. There are very few games that do not promote that and are just a mindless nonsense game, and that only makes up about 5% or less of the video game population. If video games didn't need complex thinking, then it would be too easy for the player (youth), and they wouldn't bother even playing it. 95% of video games promote complex thinking and problem solving strategies, so most video games are not harmful to the youth.

Well it depends on how much you play it and how your imagination appears to others. It can sometimes be addictive to you. So try not to play it for a whole day just so that you can win it or beat your or someone's high score.

Yes, but on a time limit. 20-30 min in the evening. You will have to coax whoever is on the video game off (those things get addictive). It's OK if ? (the person) wants to, but you can't form a need or ? will go and sneak his computer under his bed and start playing , or go off when you're not looking. If you play it for hours and hours then it could cause eye damage, and also damage in the brain ;). But it's ok for 1-4 hours.
