Only if it is the name of a class or the first word in the sentence. For instance, you could write, "I love algebra but my Algebra II teacher is very strict." and "Algebra is my second class of the day."

You only capitalize 'algebra' and 'history' if they are at the beginning of the sentence or part of a title:

Algebra and history are my favorite subjects. Our history book is ' The History of Asia' and it's very interesting. My algebra teacher is very patient.

You would not capitalize the words college math in a sentence, unless it was the name of a book, for example.

My favorite professor wrote the book, College Math, published in 1982 and now in its 12th edition.

The movie, College Math, was a dud. Reviewers said the director forgot to multiply his assets.

versus

I found college math extra difficult because I never had high school algebra.

She failed college math in every semester.

versus first word of a sentence

College math challenged me.

College math needed tutors to carry the text for the course.
