Do you capitalize the name of foods?

If we're talking about a proper-named ethnic or national class of foods, such as Thai or German or Mexican, we capitalize the national or cultural modifier. "I love Greek food." "What do you think of that new Vietnamese restaurant?" But the individual dishes are not usually capitalized. "I like enchiladas." "I'll have the fish and chips."
