Yes, the Church only gives Its rites and honors to those who are Her members. It would make little sense in reciting prayers or lavishing services on someone who choose not to believe in them while living. The Church will certainly bury a non-Catholic as it is one of the corporal acts of mercy, however, the funeral mass, if requested, would have to be private and the burial would take place in ground that has not been consecrated.

However, a non-Catholic spouse is frequently given a Catholic funeral especially if he/she has been very supportive of his/her spouse's religion and allowed the children to be brought up as Catholics.

Like other Christian faiths, you do have to be baptized by the Catholic church to be considered an OFFICIAL Catholic follower. You need to be baptized by a Catholic Priest or Deacon. You could easily go to any Catholic church in the area and ask them to baptize you regardless of your age.

Technically, no, you cannot. But this is a situation that is easily fixed.

Roman Catholic AnswerThe only circumstance that would find an adult attending the Catholic Church (i.e. "being a Catholic") and not baptized would be a Catechumen or Inquirer. Either way, you would probably be attending Mass, and attending RCIA once a week. If you are not, and you are interested in the Church, then you need to speak to a priest, either stop after Mass to talk with him, or call the Rectory during the week.
