I don't believe you have to. There should be enough clearance to remove the gas tank.

Why does a slight push on a axle of wheel not cause any motion?

If the push is light enough, you do not provide enough force to overcome the inertia of the axle and the static/rolling friction of the axle.

The jack point is underneith the running board between the rear wheel and door. But I would recommend getting a good screw type axle jack and jacking under the lower shock mount on any wheel. puts less stress on the body .

How do you remove left drive axle on a 97 Camry?

remove axle hub nut and tie rod to spindle connection. remove sway bar connection to control arm if present. pry/pound/press axle from hub, be careful not to damage threads on axle. Axle should hang loose at this point. Look for any bolts holding axle to trans, but should not be present on this car. Pry on inner part of axle between trans and axle end. Pry hard enough and it will pop out. Pound axle back in from outer end, be careful not to damage the axle and get splines lined up

Why is the size of tires in front and rear axle of tractor different?

Because the front tyres are used to actually steer the tractor, whereas the rear ones typically are not. Thus, it's important to ensure that the front tyres have enough clearance to where they won't rub against the frame or other components of the tractor when they're turned.

How do you check a rear wheel bearing on 02 Chevy blazer?

If it is bad enough you can hear it rumble as you drive the vehicle otherwise you can jack up the rear of the vehicle and support it safely, strip the calipers, brake pads and rotors off, grab the axle hub and try to move it up and down. There should be little or no up and down movement, in and out play is okay. Notice also if you have leaky axle seals, that would be another clue. If you have excess play in the axle, you probably have a worn out axle also. The axle bearing rides on the axle so when an axle bearing goes, so does the axle.

What do you do when your bike chain keeps getting loose?

Depends a bit on what kind of axle you've got. If it's a nutted axle(as opposed to a q/r axle) it's usually enough just to tighten the axle nuts a bit harder. You might want to make sure that all the paint is removed from the contact surface of the dropout first. You can check that the locknuts on the axle are serrated/knurled on the side that face the locknut, and you can also get axle nuts that are serrated/knurled too. If that doesn't help then you'll have to get some chain tensioners. Do note that a chain only has to be tight enough not to slap around too much, you don't want to tension it like a string.
