Do you have to get an AA BA BS MA PhD or vocational training to become an anesthesiologist?

An anesthesiologist is a physician (MD) with a specialty in anesthesiology. This would require four years for the bachelor's degree (as a full-time student), with completion of all the required prerequisite coursework, and four years of medical school. There would also be an additional three or more years to complete the internship and residency requirements.
