In the Sims series of games, your Sims won't want to fall in love until they know each other well... so you have to get your sims to have conversations with each other, and know each other really well, and that will open up additional "love" options, like giving them a hug. :) If you take it slow and don't try to push them into it too fast, you can usually get any two sims to fall in love with each other.
have your one of sims cheat on the other in front of their "current" partner. flirts count as cheating.
If your most likely to play games that includes the thumbs you wouldn't type fast but if you played games on computers like chatting online or sims where you chat and you use the keyboard and stuff like that you are most likely to type fast.

Build a fence around them and fast forward time, eventually theyll have to drop dead, it works on any other Sims game also btw, minus the DS.
