Do you have to register a street legal 49cc bike in olathe?
Is it legal to drive my 49cc Go Kart around my neighborhood In Pennsylvania with a drivers license and helmet?
Yes as long as the mounting and electrical are the same. However, there will be a slower starting off and it will make your bike non- street legal in some states. If you want to allow your bike to be street legal and not have to worry about cops apprehending or taking your bike away for 1cc of difference for riding on a local neighborhood street or on the highway.
Is It legal to drive a 49cc gas scooter in California if so would you drive it on the side walk or the street?
50cc or less and you dont have to register, depending on your city regulations, i called the local pd and asked two different officers and a sergeant and asked if i could drive it from my house to my friends for work they didnt say i couldnt. So i picked up a mirror, turn signal horn, and working break light, i still need a headlight and treaded street tires though. Also remember to using street…
Any motored vehicle to be driven in the state of FL streets need to be tagged. In order to be tagged it must be street legal including Horn, signals, lights and must not be over 49cc to be driven without insurance. It can be driven offroad without restrictions, but to be on the street the driver must be at least 16 years old, wear a helmet, and drive with NO passengers.
any CC above 50 is legal as long as you have a seedometer and working lights front back signal you need a license plate and you need it to be registered and it must be insured and where i live it is 49cc or below you can ride with out all that stuff but anything above needs all the stuff on it i would recimind a 400 to stay with highway speeds
They are street legal. There are various "restrictions" in towns though. For instance, in my town, you can ride them, but you have to have a valid drivers license, head light, tail light (reflector), and side reflectors, along with a helmet. But in Springfield, MO, you don't need any of those, maybe its due to the street lights, I don't know, check with your local City Hall to see what you need to have to…
Short answer: NO Detailed: A 49cc motor can carry you in between 30-45mph depending on weight and road conditions (terrain mainly) but normal highways have a speed limit of 65mph. You can usually go 5mph over or under unless weather conditions permit a slower driving speed (snow). So going downhill on a nice day you may top 50mph if your lucky........you'll be impeding traffic. And that's a point ticket.
