No, it wasn't a good book and like aleast a 6th grader type book and if you like crime mystery book, this book is not about killing or anything about that so if you like books that type i would suggest not you to read it.

The characters are believable, and you get to know them well enough that you become attached. They all have strengths, weaknesses, and common problems. You get to see how they love, and why they become frustrated. The author did a very good job at putting you in touch with each person through Salamanca's eyes.
