∙ 14y agoThe Sims 2 Double deluxe is the same as the Sims 2, just with 2 other bonus packs with it. You can just buy the Sims 2 double deluxe and play, you don't need the Sims 2!They are both the same just to shorten and dumb up the answer.

∙ 12y agoThe Sims Unleashed is the first generation of the Sims and the Sims 2 is the second generation so they are not compatible. If you want to play the Sim Unleashed you will need to get the Sims, Sims Deluxe Edition, or any other version of the first generation of the Sims. If you want to play the Sims 2 though there is The Sims 2 Pets that is compatible to the Sims 2.

∙ 14y agofor the most part yes. the sims 2 is just the sims 2 game. the sims 2 Deluxe is the Sims 2 and The sims 2 Nightlife the sims 2 DoubleDeluxe is The Sims 2, Nightlife and Celebration stuff pack. i would go with the sims 2 Double Deluxe over the sims 2.
