Not sure if it is the same for your year, but most FWD cars have one piece Hub bearings for the front wheel.
With a bearing Puller
IV been working on it right now all you need to do is take the back axle off and get a bearing puller and pull the outer bearings off and then you can slide the axle out and put your new bearings in
it could be the idler puller rubbing on the bearings. we had to replace it on our 2006 Chevy trailblazer ext.
They will need to be pulled off and pressed on using a puller. I noticed they are sold already installed in the hub. I think this bypasses the need to be pressed on am I correct?
the only thing i can think of would be a puller to remove the inner race from the stub axle, they tend to stick together alot!! AT
Puller is most commonly used to remove objects or to pull objects with minimum force. Pullers main object is to install automotive pulleys, bearings and gears.
Haynes Repair Manual. I had to replace front passenger side wheel bearing. The manual will walk you through it. I did have to get a pulley puller in order to get the brake disc off. Pretty straight forward though.
The most unusual tool need to replace the front wheel bearings on a 2001 Toyota Sequoia 4WD is a wheel puller. This tool is needed to remove the brake disc from the wheel. It can be rented at a tool rental business or bought at an automotive parts store.
You most likely will need a bearing puller tool which you can ge at your local auto parts store. Some have loaners which you put a deposit down, and get your money back when you return the tool.
They are pressed in and a real treat to do. After removing the wheel, brake assy, rotor and axle nut, you can either have a puller put on the car to get the bearing out or remove the whole spindle and bring it to a press.

With a power steering pump pulley puller. Many auto parts stores will rent you the proper puller to do the job.
