What equipment do you use when preparing green peppers?

Green peppers (bell peppers specifically) can be prepared in a variety of ways. If you would like to slice them, you will need a sharp chef's knife. If you would like to grill them (or flame roast), you will need a heat-resistant pair of tongs to place them on the grill and to rotate them as needed. If you would like to puree the bell peppers to make a sauce or to use in hummus, you will need a chef's knife (to cut them into sections) and a food processor. If stuffed green bell peppers are on your menu, you will need a sharp knife to slice the top off, a spoon to remove the seeds/pith, and that same spoon to stuff the filling into the peppers.

What is the botanical nemes of green chilli?

All chili peppers, from bland sweet bell peppers to Guatemalan insanity peppers that will melt your tongue at twelve paces, are in the genus Capsicum. For that matter, there are only five domesticated species; bell peppers, jalapenos, serranos, Anaheim, and poblanos are all different cultivars (if you think "like dog breeds, but with plants" you won't be far off) of Capsicum annuum, and the small Thai peppers and Tabasco peppers are both Capsicum frutescens. The hottest peppers (habaneros, datils) are usually Capsicum chinense. If you want an exact species name, you need to be more specific than "green chili"; most chili peppers are green when not fully ripe.

How do you grow bell pepper?

First off, enough thought should be given when planting Bell Peppers. Bell Peppers can flourish if they are planted in places where there is plenty of sunlight. Planning indoors can be a good idea provided you plant eight weeks atleast after the last frost. The soil should also be 85 degrees warm to be good. Now when you start off, first put the compost and manure in the soil. If needed, you can use a all purpose fertilizer. Check out for the weather if you plan to transplant. If its a cool climate, there' isn't any need to transplant them. You need to plant the seedlings 24 inches apart if you are starting to grow bell peppers. There should be 24 inches of space between the rows. This is all it takes to plant the Bell Peppers. Now once you are done with the planting of the peppers, start to water the plants so as to keep the soil moist. If there isn't enough amount of water provided, the pepper can result in bitter taste. But see that don't water more than it is required so that you wont soak the soil. During summer the water dries up sooner, so you may need more amount. Try adding some mulch so that there is moisture. Mulch is a great thing as it can help in preventing weeds. Hope this helps.

How do you grow a pepper plant hotter?

Bell peppers grow best in warm weather, must be well spaced (not crowded by each other or weeds), and fertilized. Bell peppers are susceptible to blossom end rot, a condition resulting from low calcium in the soil. This can be amended by scattering about 1/4 cup of bone meal in a ring around the main stem of the plant, then working the powder into the soil. Mulching with straw helps reduce the need for watering.
