There is no need for a special tool to remove the caliper. It is removed like most other GM calipers. Retract the piston in the caliper and remove the Allen bolts that mount the unit to the A frame, then raise it up.
additionThere is a special socket available at any parts store which is alot user friendly than fighting with sticky caliper pins with an Allen wrench. it's a 5 dollar socket that is basically an Allen wrench head jammed into a socket.Wiki User
