Do you need the air conditioning condensor to drive your 93 ford tempo?
No, the condenser is a mini radiator for the air conditioning system only. The engine cooling system is separate from this component. You just won't have any cool air!
It is located under the hood approximately in the middle of the vehicle right up front BEHIND the A/C condensor coil. What you see when looking at the very front of a vehicle (with air conditioning) behind the grill is the condensor. The radiator is directly behind that and has a metal cap on it; not to be missed.
